Naturally we had to come up with a contest to celebrate our sixth birthday. Really, we just wanted to give somebody free coffee for a year and a contest seemed like the fairest way to do it. (Even if this particular contest favors the math-inclined, who are able to work out the volumes of conical sections in their head, or on the back of a napkin, or with their slide-rule).

How Many Coffee Beans in the Coffee Carafe: it's a simple game. Come into the shop, take a look at the coffee carafe, ask an employee for a contest slip, and make your best guess, educated or otherwise. One guess per person. The contest will run from Sunday morning until Friday night.

The grand prize is a year of free brewed coffee and tea. The winner will be announced on this website on Sunday the 13th. Good luck!
