Should be a fun and educational family event. I'm happy to say that Kavarna is involved, we will be hosting one of the stops.

  • » Sunday, May 12th: Who Killed the Electric Car? Free screening of a documentary about the twisted end of California's Zero Emission Vehicle mandate. I hope that I'm not spoiling it by telling you that automakers, oil companies, and the Bush administration were involved. Linda and I watched this the other night after putting the baby in bed and it's absolutely infuriating. Kavarna, 7 pm.
Black Bean and Chipotle Chili

Made with fresh tomatoes, red peppers, onions, black beans and chipotle chili peppers, Kavarna's Chipotle and Black Bean Chili is spicy and good.

December 16, Songwriter's Showcase, 7 pm: Open Mic for Songwriter's! We've often been asked why we've never had an open mic at Kavarna. Well, it's simple. There are a lot of open mics out there already, and we wanted something a little different. The showcase is an open invitation to come and present original songs to an audience comprised of other songwriters (as well as the general public).

We send out an eNewsletter about once a month to share information of value (hopefully!) with our community, as well as to pass along special promotions and the like.
