Even More CACP at 56

First, on April 5th, there's the encore presentation of Juxtaposed... for those of us who were cowed by the great snowstorm of March 1st, the one that never happened. Juxtaposed is a variety program featuring classical guitarist Dan Weaver (who should be familiar to some of you...), films by Eric Carter, the jazz sylings of Jet Set Radio, and the mysterious Josh Gordon... Tickets are 5 dollars, and unused tickets from the first Juxtaposed will be honored. Unfortunately, no advance tickets will be sold.

Finally, on April 12th, CACP will be bringing in Joe Locke, legendary jazz vibraphone player for an evening of straight ahead jazz. Tickets will be $15 at the door.

If you've not been to any of CACP's recent shows, you've missed out on some incredible evenings... check out their website at greenbaymusic.com, and don't forget to sign up for their email list. My understanding is that after these two shows, CACP will be taking a break for a little while before coming back with further adventures in music and culture.

Black Bean and Chipotle Chili

Made with fresh tomatoes, red peppers, onions, black beans and chipotle chili peppers, Kavarna's Chipotle and Black Bean Chili is spicy and good.

December 16, Songwriter's Showcase, 7 pm: Open Mic for Songwriter's! We've often been asked why we've never had an open mic at Kavarna. Well, it's simple. There are a lot of open mics out there already, and we wanted something a little different. The showcase is an open invitation to come and present original songs to an audience comprised of other songwriters (as well as the general public).

We send out an eNewsletter about once a month to share information of value (hopefully!) with our community, as well as to pass along special promotions and the like.
