I regret to say that I have just enabled the comment authentication feature on this blog. I have recently become deluged with "comment spam." There are little computer program beasties out there who are attempting to leave advertisements for various pharmaceuticals, they come constantly. The software stops most of them (over 2000 in the past 3 days!), but my inbox is still flooded with dozens of email notifications a day. I have just now put an end to it by enabling "authentication." I'm sorry to say that now if you would like to comment on anything that is written here, you will need to sign up for a free account at typekey.com. Typekey is an authentication service, sort of an honest broker in the online world. If you sign up, you will have an username that will allow you to comment with impunity on the majority of Movable Type driven blogs (which is most of them). Sorry for the inconvenience, Lord knows that I really don't want to discourage the very few who have left legitimate comments here. But, I am tired of hearing about breast implants.

UPDATE: I just tried this out, and I realized that I need to stick some code in there that will allow you to actually register once you have an account. It may be a little while before I can get this together...
