I cannot believe that panoramas.dk existed for FIVE years before I stumbled across it this evening. It's exactly the kind of thing that I think I should know about already. It's a site with hundreds of full screen resolution panoramic images of everything from Petra, Jordan (pictured above) to the site of collapsed bridge in Minneapolis. Requires Apple's Quicktime viewer (which probably came pre-installed on your computer) and either patience or broadband.
