More Experimentation: Sipping Chocolate

Just so you know, we haven't been blind to the new trend: sipping chocolate. We're as intrigued by the idea as anyone, we want it bad (bad enough to use bad grammar!) Here's the trouble, how? We've experimented with several of the commercial drinking chocolate product solutions that are advertised all over the coffee trade mags and we haven't been impressed. At best they were underwhelming, and at worst they tasted like chemicals.

This week we figured it out... we stepped back, stopped looking at the products and started looking at the raw materials, and it looks like we'll be making our own sipping chocolate in house. It will take us a little time to figure out the best recipe, the best methodology, the best way to serve it, etc. We'll launch it on February 14th!

December 16, Songwriter's Showcase, 7 pm: Open Mic for Songwriter's! We've often been asked why we've never had an open mic at Kavarna. Well, it's simple. There are a lot of open mics out there already, and we wanted something a little different. The showcase is an open invitation to come and present original songs to an audience comprised of other songwriters (as well as the general public).

We send out an eNewsletter about once a month to share information of value (hopefully!) with our community, as well as to pass along special promotions and the like.
